why is such a cold, heartless place
warm and cozy during the day?
wear a jacket for warmth
end up getting burnt
this is no good
nothing is as it should
winter come quickly
so i can wrap up closely
to a woman i feel so close to
and she’ll snuggle like she’s supposed to
or not
i’ve lost my game
no dates recently
but soon i’m going to take a girl out
and make her know what i’m about
shoulda never let dan meehan out.

today i realized
no i remembered
my head’s out in the sky
thoughts in the clouds
no joke i swear it
nothing beautiful that i saw
and i mean to say i saw it all
except i saw her. she’s so beautiful

in a cloudy day.
why can’t i be good enough for her?
it’s all madness
we can’t stop the sadness
just see the pain and hurt
where are our priorities?
cast upon the golden sanctuaries
false hopes and dreams caught up in these
we need to retire, stop the fight
so we can come back and make wrong things right
our world is too big for us to imagine
your life is too big for you to be stagnant
our lives are the ones that we can rule
you can do it all if you just try to make it true
wishes and dreams can become reality
when we retire to simplicity
cast off the titans
take on your life
